    1. Save the files

      Unzip the download and save the seven .cube files to the Files app on your iPhone or to your computer.

    2. Load them in

      In Blackmagic Camera, open settings, go to LUTs and import. In your editor, add the .cube file to your clip.

    3. Shoot in Apple Log 2

      Monitor with any look while you record clean log, then apply it when you edit.

    In Resolve, add the LUT to a node. In Final Cut Pro, use the Custom LUT effect. In Premiere Pro, load it in Lumetri Color.

    What is Apple Log 2?

    It's the log video profile on iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro. It records flat, low-contrast footage with a wide color range so you can grade it later. A LUT like ALCHEMY turns that flat footage into a finished look in one step.

    How do I add LUTs to Blackmagic Camera on iPhone?

    Save the .cube files to the Files app, then open Blackmagic Camera, go to settings, open LUTs and import them. You can then monitor with any look while you record clean log. The install guide in the download walks through it with screenshots for each app.

    Do these work on regular iPhone video?

    No. They're built for Apple Log 2. On standard video they'll look too strong.

    Will they work on original Apple Log?

    Yes, but expect to adjust exposure and white balance first, since Apple Log 2 uses a different color space.

    Which iPhones shoot Apple Log 2?

    iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro models.

    Do they work on Android or other cameras?

    Not as intended. They're tuned to Apple Log 2.
